Partner Yoga for Birth
This empowering class is designed for birthing people and their partners to move, breath and learn together in preparation for labour. You will be guided through supportive yoga poses, grounding breathwork and hands-on partner assistance . You’ll explore practical tools that can ease discomfort, build confidence and strengthen your connection with your partner and your body leading up to birth.
Together you’ll learn:
Key movements and positions for labour that will encourage comfort, create space and mobility and encourage optimal fetal positioning.
Partner support techniques including counterpressure, massage, stabilising holds and nervous system regulation
Breath work and co-regulation practices to help bring calm to the nervous system and focus
Mind-body practices to reduce tension and cultivate a sense of safety and grounding.
This class is accessible to all levels; no previous yoga experience is required. Expect a warm, nurturing space where you and your partner can explore what labour support looks like you you. Leave feeling informed, connected and confident as you approach birth as a team.
These classes are open to private sessions with couples or group workshops to help meet new expectant parents.
